Plain-English summary. We collect the minimum needed to run the service: anonymous usage analytics on the website, and — if you use the Telegram bot — your Telegram user ID plus the meal photos you send us. We do not sell data. We do not use your photos to train public AI models. You can request deletion any time.

1. Who we are

"Nouri" ("we", "us") operates the website nouriagent.com and the Telegram bot @NouriAgent_bot. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect on the website

  • Analytics — page views, referrer, anonymized IP, approximate country, device type, and time on page. Collected via Google Analytics 4. No personally identifiable information unless you submit it in a form.
  • Contact form submissions — if you email [email protected] or [email protected], we store your message to reply.
  • Calculator inputs — the free tools (TDEE, macros, BMI, calorie deficit) run entirely in your browser. Values you type are not transmitted to our servers.

3. What we collect in the Telegram bot

  • Telegram user ID and username — required by the Telegram API to send replies.
  • Meal photos — processed by our AI pipeline to identify foods and estimate nutrition. Stored for up to 30 days to improve the product, then deleted.
  • Messages you send the bot — stored with your user ID to personalize coaching.
  • Nutrition log entries — calorie and macro totals you generate via bot interactions, stored as long as your account is active.

4. What we do not collect

  • Real names, addresses, phone numbers, or government IDs.
  • Payment card details — if a paid plan is offered, payment is processed by third-party provider (Stripe or Telegram Stars). We receive only the transaction status.
  • Health records covered by HIPAA or equivalent.

5. How we use your data

  • To provide the service — respond to Telegram messages, analyze photos, return calorie/macro estimates.
  • To improve the product — aggregate, anonymized statistics; manual QA review of low-confidence AI predictions (no public sharing of your data).
  • To communicate — respond to your direct support messages.

6. Data sharing

We share data only with the minimum set of service providers needed to operate:

  • Google (Analytics on the website).
  • Telegram (the bot platform).
  • Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection for the website).
  • LLM / vision-AI providers (for meal-photo analysis). We do not permit these providers to use your data to train their public models.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Data retention

Meal photos: 30 days unless you request earlier deletion. Bot chat history: retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Website analytics: aggregated retention up to 14 months in Google Analytics.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it by emailing [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under GDPR; in California, under CCPA. We respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

The website uses only Google Analytics cookies. The Telegram bot sets no cookies (it's a Telegram interface). You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without losing site functionality.

10. Children

Nouri is not intended for users under 13 years old. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the associated data.

11. Changes to this policy

When we materially change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date and, for Telegram bot users, send a notification through the bot.
