Terms of Service
1. Who we are
"Nouri" ("we", "us", "service") operates nouriagent.com and the Telegram bot @NouriAgent_bot. By using the website, the free calculators, or the bot, you ("user", "you") agree to these terms.
2. What Nouri provides
- Free, browser-based calculators (TDEE, macros, BMI, calorie deficit).
- Educational articles in the knowledge hub.
- An AI assistant in Telegram that analyzes meal photos and estimates calories and macros.
3. Accounts
You do not need an account to use the website or the free calculators. To use the Telegram bot, you need a Telegram account, which is subject to Telegram's Terms of Service. Your Telegram user ID acts as your Nouri identifier.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service in a way that violates any law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.
- Submit images or messages that are illegal, abusive, or violate the rights of others.
- Use the bot as a replacement for medical care (see Medical Disclaimer).
5. Content you submit
You retain ownership of the photos and messages you send to the bot. By sending them, you grant us a limited, revocable license to process them for the purpose of providing the service — identifying food, estimating nutrition, and storing your personal log. We do not sell your content and do not permit third-party AI providers to train public models on it (see the Privacy Policy).
6. AI accuracy and limitations
Nutrition estimates from photos and calculator outputs are approximate. We do our best to be accurate but we make no warranty of correctness. You are responsible for any decision made based on the service's output.
7. Pricing and payment
The website, calculators, and the basic Telegram bot are free. If we introduce a paid plan, prices and billing terms will be stated clearly at purchase and the plan will be cancellable via the billing provider (Stripe or Telegram Stars).
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uptime. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, for any reason.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. See also the Medical Disclaimer.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nouri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed USD 50 or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by not visiting the site and by blocking the Telegram bot. To delete bot data, email [email protected]. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Nouri is legally established. Disputes will first be attempted in good faith via direct contact; unresolved disputes will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for Telegram bot users, via a bot notification. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
